Dusty Tome
So, when we here at DTS were deciding how to get into development, we went through a lot of options. A truly unpleasant span of options. The bottom line is, we were looking for a basic, expandable game compiler that we could add as much as we liked without breaking our brains on building it bit by bit. And then… gold.
RPG Maker has been wonderful to work with. We at Dusty Tome Studios have been using it for a while, in our initial forays into the gaming world. It’s remarkably intuitive, and produces exactly the type of games that we want to make; ones focused on story. If you have any interest in making games, try it out. It should be a pretty clear barometer as to your interest in the subject. Honestly, check it out: Make Your Own Game.
